At OtterTune, I led product design for an automated database tuning and performance analysis platform for PostgreSQL and MySQL on AWS. Partnering closely with database engineers, data teams, leadership and customers, I translated low-level system metrics and tuning recommendations into clear, actionable insights that helped customers improve performance, reduce latency, and operate with confidence. My focus was on making complex, expert-driven workflows understandable—designing tools that supported informed decision-making while scaling across production environments.
